In consideration of the teams who will be joining us in Prague next week, have extended the deadline to submit applications for the Startup Battlefield at Disrupt Europe until Sunday, July 6th.
Both Europe and non-Europe based teams are eligible to apply. And why not? Up for grabs is the £30,000 prize, the coveted “Disrupt Cup,” as well as feedback from the likes of SV Angel, Index Ventures, 500 Startups, TechStars, Angelpad and Seedcamp.
Last year’s Disrupt Europe teams have faired quite well. Winner Lock8 surpassed their fundraising goal and recently joined us at Disrupt NY. Runner-Up ASAP54 raised $3M and launched into the US, Europe and Brazil.
But you don’t have to win the Cup or even be in the finals to get some of that TechCrunch glow. Qardio, a medical device company making beautiful and functional ECGs and blood pressure devices, also exceeded their Indiegogo Campaign and Satago raised $1M to help SMEs better predict cash flow.
