Corey Anderson vs. Gian Villante slated for UFC 181

Corey Anderson has received his first post-TUF assignment.

"The Ultimate Fighter 19" light heavyweight winner will meet Gian Villante at UFC 181 on Dec. 6, the promotion announced on Tuesday.

Anderson (4-0), nicknamed "Beastin 25/8," needed just 61 seconds to defeat Matt Van Buren via TKO at the TUF Finale in July. The 24-year-old was the first light-heavyweight pick for Team Frankie Edgar.

Villante (12-5), a training partner of UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, won his second UFC fight in June when he defeated Sean O'Connell via split decision.

UFC 181, headlined by Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort for the UFC middleweight title, will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
