Oh s--t! Even UFC heavyweights are afraid of Nate Diaz

If Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight titleholder Anthony Pettis was intimidated by Nate Diaz, who was a part of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 reality show to back up Gilbert Melendez, it's nothing to be ashamed of. After all, even heavyweights are afraid of the Stockton slugger.

That's according to "El Nino" (via MMA Fighting):

"I had Nate Diaz on the show and the intimidation factor is there. Heavyweights are afraid of Nate Diaz. They're like ‘oh shit,' you know what I mean? I brought Nate out there for that. I brought Nate out, [Pettis] brought 10 dudes. ... Even though the contract said you should only bring four people. He had 10 people, I was like, ‘ahh, I didn't get the memo.' But those things tend to happen on his side... He doesn't like Pettis, they were there, he didn't say nothing. He just mugged, that's his culture. He didn't talk shit, he wasn't looking to do that on my show. He's not trying to mess it up, he's there to help. Nate is a really good friend of mine and a really good dude, and really stepped up."

Must be those silly-ass suits.

Pettis is slotted to put his strap on the line on Dec. 6, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and promised to let Diaz jump the 155-pound line to settle their score. "Showtime" said it was "personal" after all the media trash talk, which doesn't sound like someone who is scared to throw down.

I guess we'll find out in a few short months.
